Amazing Application!!

We did the next big thing travelers!!! We have launched our very first mobile application! The name of this amazing application is Everything Travel and the best part is….IT’S FREE!!

On this application you will be able to do things like enter your location and what type of vacation you’re on (family, friend, etc) and what you like (food, culture, bars, etc) and it will give you the best places to go on your vacation. This app also has a pack your suitcase feature where you can put in your vacation location and it will give you suggested items to pack! If you go to another feature in the app you are able to connect your phone with other members you’re traveling with and gps locate them if you get separated from each other. Sounds pretty cool to me!

This week at As The Crow Flies Travel Critic we want to show you how much we appreciate you as our customers! This coming weekend on Saturday April 25^th 2015 we are holding a customer appreciation banquet. The banquet will be held at our office on 790 Lake Street, Altoona, at 6:00pm the 25^th. Keep It Classy Merica'!

         Merica' is a beautiful place don't you think? Let's work on keeping it beautiful. As the Crow Flies would like to have a trash clean up/recycle day. On April 11th for every garbage bag filled with trash you've cleaned up outside and dropped off at our office (790 Lake street, Altoona) we will be donating $5 to a nature restoration facility. We also want you to bring us cans and bottles, for every can or bottle you bring to our office we will donate 50 cents to the same organization.

As travelers our passion in life is to take the beautiful earth in. We want to keep our amazing earth beautiful and healthy. On April 12th we are welcoming everyone to come to our office location set on six acres of land, so we can plant 8 different kinds of trees together! This is a great chance for us to give back to our earth....Join us!

Last week I came across a new travel website that I would like for us to explore. After several days of experimenting with this website I found it to be a great place for travelers like ourselves to come together and talk about what we love, travel! Since we can’t get together as much as I would like to discuss what is great and not so great about certain locations to visit, stay at, or dine at, I figured this would be a great site for me to show you!

The name of the website is www.travbuddy.com. There are endless travel opportunities on this website you will have to see it to believe it. You can never go wrong with listening to people’s first hand experiences with things. To each is own, but when it comes to something you want to be a great experience I’d say non-edited pictures and talking to real travelers is the way to go!

TravBuddy is completely free to join and has a ton of really useful travel tools for us to use. You are able to browse travel locations, upload pictures, read forums, and meet travelers. There are even critics like myself and expert travelers on TravBuddy! Below is a tutorial video I created to show you some of TravBuddy’s features and how to sign up with an account! Baseball & Blastin' Beach Fun!

Here it is, what I have been talking about all week. We all need a vacation right? RIGHT! We got together with our friends at Engstrand Baseball Camp  and gave their team a list of the best places to stay in Ft. Meyers Florida as they head down for the Minnesota Twins Spring Training!! That's not all of course...I decided to join the team and head down to Ft. Meyers March 11th and 12th for some fun in the sun, and I want YOU to come too! How can you say no? Some good baseball and blastin' beach fun?!
